Would of been 5 stars as really enjoyed the food but was left with a sour taste in my mouth when realised we had been charged 3.20 for a lime and soda and 2 for a dash of coke to go with my Bacardi. Other than that lovely experience.

A lovely venue. Fabulous meal and very friendly staff. No rush to leave . Could be cheaper but join there loyalty scheme and get 25% off . Definitely worth a visit.
Always enjoy going for a meal at Van Dyk so thought we'd try the new Dine at Home service. What a brilliant idea, especially for mid-week. The food was exactly the same as in the restaurant...piping hot, same quality, everything...but without the drive out. You can even dress in PJ's!We really hope this catches on and continues to be available for the long term future.
This is our second time at the Van Dyk. We stumbled across this hotel as a last minute deal and booked a 2 night stay and came back. We had a late arrival and although there was a wedding function on Debbie front of house still broke from her meeting to come and greet us. Isobel, the receptionist was also very welcoming and attentive to our needs. The staff overall are extremely helpful caring and friendly, nothing being too much trouble. Even in the brasserie they will adapt menu options whilst displaying a professional manner at all times. The rooms are each uniquely decorated with a contemporary vintage feel, very cosy and beds are comfortable. We like it so much we have signed up to their loyalty membership and will definitely be regular visitors. We will definitely be recommending this hotel as a place to stay. Thank you.
